Final Mission of 1LT Steven G. Schimmel

1LT Steven G. Schimmel was a U.S. Army fixed-wing pilot serving with the 219th Aviation Company. On June 3, 1969, 1LT Schimmel was the pilot of a Cessna O-1 Bird Dog observation aircraft that reportedly crashed and burned four miles northwest of Pleiku City in Pleiku Province, RVN.
