On the remembrance of your 70th birthday, your sacrifice is not forgotten.

I will always remember and never forget the name of Patrick John Bohan, who gave the ultimate sacrifice! That sacrifice is severed in my heart forever!

PFC. Patrick J. Bohan, I grew up hearing about you - your life, your passing, your memory. My Mom still speaks occasionally about the profound sorrow felt by the family of ten, the day the call came to my grandparents home which brought news of your passing. I have never heard her speak of anything else with such sadness. My Aunt Kathy and I spoke about you a while back. I learned so much more about you and your service time from her. Though you've come up so many times in conversation, the thing that always and overwhelmingly comes through in the words is how well you are spoken of. You were clearly loved by so many. I want to close with a heartfelt thank you for your service and sacrifice. From everything I've heard it seems I'd have loved to have known you.

Yes! That handsome buff Pathfinder wearing a headset sitting on his bunker next to the helicopter pad, is still my big brother. You have grown wiser! Because I still talk to you, and find my answer in "What would Pat have me do?" And I still find answers in the memories and stories of those who knew you as a mentor, a motivator, a trusted fun friend. Yes! You still show us the way. And we will never stop wishing you Happy Birthday on December 29th!
