My brother

I was 16 when we got the news Clifford had been killed. I we received the news like so many via a telegram. We are proud of our brother he had two brothers and a sister me and many friends who’s lives were forever changed. He was our hero he gave his life for all I sincerely hope everyone appreciates the lives lost in all conflicts so we can enjoy freedom

Semper Fi

I went to boot camp with Cliff, Plt 2057 MCRD San Diego, we graduated as the Honor Platoon. We graduated in Sept 1966, after that the next time I saw Cliff, was when I was going through Okinawa on my way to Vietnam. Always was admiring of Cliff, as he put up with a lot of attention from the DI's.
There were three other Marines from our Platoon who gave the ultimate sacrifice;
Gysgt Ernest A Rivera he was one of our drill instructors.
Cpl William T Perkins MOH
L/Cpl Ronald James Perkins.
You will not be forgotten.
The photo is from bootcamp Cliff and then Sgt Ernest Rivera.
