In Remembrance

Reference to Sgt. Saracino's bravery is made in the book 'American Warrior - A Combat Memoir of Vietnam', by Brig. Gen. John C. 'Doc' Bahnsen, published in 2008 by Citadel Press. We all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Sgt. Saracino and the other members of our military who gave so much.

Fiddler's Green

In just a few days it will 36 years since Frank died. I have written a play and also a book about my friend. The play will be performed this summer and the book will be puplished too, but that will not bring my friend back.

His Dad

I have heard that people who lost their lives in VN are the forgotten soldiers but not everyone forgets; Frank's Dad is 77 years old and runs a trout farm where Frank grew up. I took my family there and had the pleasure to meet his Dad. He is a real character; talking with people as they fish while watching families together. He told us he lost his son in VN in 1969. Frank was not forgotten and lives in his Dad's heart and now in ours.

My buddy, Frank

Hi Frank, I got to meet your sister Fran . I took her to Ft Irwin to show her that the troopers of the 11th Cav still hold their heads high with honor and pride. Your Dad has even started to read my book, he still misses you very much buddy. I'll have a cold one for you Frank.
