Thank You
Dear Sp4 Michael Saporito, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never forgotten . . .
Michael was first cousin to my mother, Angela Saporito, from Greenpoint in Brooklyn. I have only vague childhood memories of visits to Valley Stream with my grandparents, but my mother always remembered you. When I went to D.C. in 2000, she asked me to take a rubbing of your name from the Wall, which I did. Rest in peace, Michael, knowing that you are not forgotten.
