Thank You

Dear Sp4 Karl Rynearson, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Wire Operations Specialist . Your 54th anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND

DEAR KARL: RARELY A DAY GOES BY WITHOUT REMEMBERING YOU. WE LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM EACH OTHER ON JEFFERSON AVENUE IN DUNMORE. WE HAD A LOT OF FUN AS KIDS. I REMEMBER GOING TO THE "COUNTRY" WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO SHOOT AND FISH. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE DAY THAT MY FISH HOOK WENT THROUGH THE LIP OF YOUR LITTLE SISTER MARY RUTH. I ENDED UP SPENDING 30 YEARS BOTH ACTIVE AND RESERVE IN THE ARMY AND RETIRED WITH THE RANK OF COLONEL. GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOMS. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.

will never be forgotten

It has been over 46 years and I think of you and major Charles Weaver a lot. I no longer remember what you two guys looked like time has taken that away from me but I live with the remembrance of that day and it is so hard. Will meet again.
