You are not forgotten
2LT. John Paul Bobo,
Please know that your sacrifice will never be forgotten. The lives you saved as you gave your own, is the most anyone can ever give of themselves. May you rest in peace.

In Memory of Many, In Honor of All...
Dear 2LT John Paul Bobo, sir, and Captain Michael Peter Getlin, sir.
Remembering each of you and those you served with. Although it has been more than 50 years, you are each remembered for the sacrifice you made to save your Marines.
May America always remember, and may we never forget the true cost of what far too many take for granted in this wonderful country.
With respect, Sirs

God Bless my friend.
John,
I remember you often and speak to my children about what a great person you are. The brief time we spent together as friends is cherished. We served in Vietnam at different times and my only wish is that we could talk about it today. You are gone, but never forgotten. Rest in peace and know that you are missed and loved by your friends and family.
