I love you Dad

Dear Dad, I always wanted to be Daddy's Little Girl. Without you I always felt like a piece of my heart was missing. I met your best friend, Uncle Joe this past year. He had saved your letters and pictures and shared them with me. One letter in particular stated how much you loved me. It was the piece that was missing from my heart. My heart is healed and I grew to know you thru your letters. Uncle Joe has blessed me tremendously with this gift. I praise God for knowing that I had a loving father. I hurt to know how young you were and to learn more about the struggles of war, particularly Vietnam. I love you Daddy.
