Remembering you.

I was with "C"-2nd/14th on the same operation when we lost you. Combat Medic Sgt. Richard Griffith moved forward of "C" to render 1st aid. Sadly it was too late.

DC and Ottawa Ceremonies

I went to DC and read your name and 59 others for the 35th Anniversary of the Wall in November. I spoke for Memorial Day in our home town in May, then again in June when the Moving Wall came to Ottawa. Dawn and the boys were with me for our closing ceremony and Tyler read the 33 names of LaSalle County soldiers. I'm very proud of all 3 of them.

Remembered

DEAR PFC BOAZ,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRY DIRECT FIRE CREWMAN. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. MANY OF US HAVE BEGUN OUR JOURNEY TO EASTER. AND YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS. IT IS HOLY THURSDAY, AND PASSOVER - GOD'S BLESSINGS ON YOU.
