Great Guy

I only knew roy for a short time. we were in staging together and we went to viet nam together. we arrived in viet nam in november 1967. we were both 0351's but roy volunteered to be a machine gunner. roy was killed by friendly fire. We had eaten chow together the night he was killed. I liked him very much and I think about him almost everyday and have since that terrible night.Roy was a good marine and a great human being. Even though I did't know him that well he has left a hugh impression on me. He is missed.
