Never Forgotten

Ronald, it is said that a man hasn’t died as long as he is remembered. Rest in peace knowing that you are remembered and honored. Thank you for your service. Prayers to your family and friends. Garryowen!

Many of the men who served in Charlie Company 1st Bn, 7th Cavalry, First Cavalry Division (Airmobile) in Vietnam during the period 1970 through 1971 have begun gathering together annually. One of the purposes of our reunions is to honor the 28 men who lost their lives during this period. These men made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, but most of all, they sacrificed for their brothers who fought beside them.

You are Never Forgotten.

Have written a story..

After reading through the touching comments left for you, Ronald, I know you were a good man. I wrote a story about you in class. I never knew you, or anyone in your family or your friends. I've never even been to Texas. But I wanted to write a story about an inspiring story about a courageous man who saved lives. I searched the virtual Vietnam Wall looking for names and yours stood out. I researched your story about two months ago and ever since then I can't stop. My greatest respect for you and all who fight in the war. The story I wrote about you is mostly fictional with some fact based things, but am currently writing a non fictional one. Truly am grateful for all you've done.
