Such a kind man
You were a classmate of my older sister Michele. One day when you were over at the house in Sidney you helped me with my homework, taking the time to sit down and have a conversation with a kid sister. I've never forgotten your kindness and good humor. When I visited the Wall I found your name and remembered what a good person you were. You have gone to a good place, I am sure.

Ron and I were in the same platoon at TBS in 1968. He and Will Pyle were two of my closest friends. I went on to Artillery School at Ft. Sill, while both of them went to VN as platoon commanders. Both were KIA in May 1969, about the same time I arrived in country. They died honorably leading other marines in combat.

Always remember Ron
I have thought about Ron every day for the last 50 years. He was my best friend in High School- I was the best man at his wedding. He meant so much to me and know how well he served our country with all of his might. I would love to hear from anyone who knew him from the service and I have not been successful in locating his widow Martha Miller from the Albany Troy area. I can be contacted via my email of [email protected]
