SSG Douglas R. Blodgett - The CPT Rocky Versace Plaza and Vn Vets Memorial
SSG Douglas Randolph Blodgett is one of the 67 men from Alexandria, Virginia who remains Missing in Action (MIA) in Vietnam from that war and remembered with his name below a Gold Star on the benches surrounding the statue of POW/MIA and Medal of Honor recipient CPT "Rocky" Versace at the Captain Rocky Versace Plaza and Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Shown is an overhead picture of the Versace Plaza. The “Friends of Rocky Versace” annually conduct Memorial Day & Veterans Day Ceremonies at the Plaza/Memorial and cordially invite SSG Blodgett's family members, his brothers-in-arms and friends to join us at the observances.
