Col. Kenneth Robinson 8/30/66. Never forgotten.

I received a POW/MIA bracelet in the 6th grade for Major Kenneth Robinson 6/30/35-8/30/66. I wore it daily and prayed for him and his family. It broke one day and I have kept it in a drawer along with the original package it came in ever since. Beside it is a bracelet I ordered for my brother during Operation Dessert Shield. I finally was able to find out Col Robinson was 'brought home to his family' and his final resting place is at Arlington National Cemetery. I visited his grave there one year and am relieved to know his family was given this closure for their loved one. Thank you Col. Robinson, for your ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Thank you Kenneth

My mom sponsored POW / MIA fund in the 60-70s and received a bracelet for her donation. When I turned 18 she gave it to me and told me how Kenneth Robinson who's name was on the bracelet gave his life for his country. He fought an unpopular fight to represent the United States and our belief in Freedom for all. She told me to remember him everyday and live my life to the fullest because he didn't get to. So Thank You Kenneth. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. I think of you everyday, and am living my life to the fullest in your honor. Thank you, I ware the bracelet everyday with great pride.

Bracelet Follow-up

I gave my husband a new jewelry box for Christmas 2013. When he started filling it up, he came across the MIA bracelet that he wore back in the 60's. It had "Maj.Kenneth Robinson 8-30-66" engraved on it. He mentioned to me that he wondered what ever happened to this man.

I looked Maj. Robinson up as soon as I got to work the next day. I found his memorial and the photo of his gravestone at Arlington Cemetery. It's wonderful to know about this amazing hero.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Colonel Kenneth Dale Robinson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
