Missing My Brother My Hero

Sometimes I just still can't believe you are gone. I miss your smile and your joking ways. I cherish in my heart the time you took to sit with me the night before you left to go to Vietnam to give me big brother advise. Seems like it was just yesterday. I love and miss you and I know one day I will see you again. You are forever in my heart.

Happy Birthday Daddy

You would have been 67 years old today. I spent a lot of my early years angry. Now I'm just heartbroken that I never got to know you. You are missed every day. I love you.

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
