Character

Ritchie was another quiet, gentle soul that didn't belong in the Infantry. Although he and I had talked a bit I didn't know him very well. Our moms worked together at Sears in Pottsville and were good friends. I had just begun my 2d tour when my mom sent word about him. She was pretty shook up.

I think we could've been good friends if things were different. I guess we'll never know. RIP.
