Thank You
Dear Cpl Dennis Ritter, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Labor Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Its been 53 years since we hung out together. College at NIACC in Mason City and some of the craziness we did. I ordered my 70 'Cuda from Nam and you ordered your 70 Mach 1. I still have my last letter you sent me 'In Country'. RIP my friend. Think of you and Nam every day of my life since I've been back..........its stamped in my mind, and on my heart.......

To 'Tiny'
Denny,
It's been 50+years since we served together but seeing your teen age and AIT photos it took me back to our Nam days.
We got to know each other some as we were often in fighting positions together.
You and many, many others and I will always be Brothers.
You, The Kid and myself were together that disastrous day and I wasn't able to help either of you. It was over in an instant!
I wrote a letter to your parents hoping to ease their loss and they made a visit to me arranged with my parents, I hope that helped but....
