Gregory was a very new soldier who was assigned to my unit. He was in a forwarded position to protect a down helicopter for the night. Unfortunately a VC approach him and two other veteran soldiers and shot all three. I had my arms around Gregory, talking to him until the med-vac helicopter arrived. He was a good soldier.

Hey Greg, Tommy Blowers brother Frank and I were just talking about you. You will never be forgotten, only good memories, rest in peace buddy.

Dear PFC Gregory Rindy, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 73rd birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 76th anniversary of the end of WWII, and the 20th anniversary of 9/11 is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
