I am from Hokes Bluff Elementary in Gadsden,AL. I'm in the first grade. We are doing a class project on the Vietnam War.
I wanted to thank you for your service in this war. Sorry about the war it was one of the deadliest wars in history. We would like to give you a special thanks for your services to this country. Thank You.

Our country's greatest heroes go unrecognized, such as Charles John Riley, they are the true heroes. God Bless you Charles we know you are watching out for those of us left behind. You are our hero. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Charles John Riley, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and your most holy sacrifice given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Marine, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!
