Lance Corporal Steven Allen Rickerson was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his exemplary gallantry in action. He served as a Rifleman and was assigned to K CO, 3RD BN, 3RD MARINES, 3RD MARDIV.
