My Father is my Hero

Dad even though mom was 2 months pregnant with me when you paid the ultimate sacrifice and went home to be with the Lord and family that went before. I have also known of you and the lives you touched while you lived. Please let it be known that you are still touching lives of all ages through the athletes I coach. Our middle school kids bring me a stencil of your name every year they travel to DC. I know you are up there looking down with Papaw keeping a vigilant eye on the family as only Marines can. I hope what each of you see makes you proud and know that your legacies are marching forward. You have 5 beautiful grandchildren and 3 beautiful great granddaughters. You and Papaw can Rest In Peace knowing you and your legacies have carried on in the family. Your grandson Chase is serving in the Army National Guard and is doing wonderful in his unit. Please tell Papaw. I love you Dad!
