A "Yellow Light"
In touring the VN Wall in DC, I casually walked along the path deep in the well. Then when I was not looking at the many names listed, one name leaped out of the wall and it had a yellow light around it. The name: William Blakely ... my name, also. I know nothing of this young man's life other than what has been written about this Hero. On Memorial Day, we pay special tribute to those who paid the ultimate price with their life.

You Will Always be Remembered
Danny (as we knew you in school): you will always be remembered fondly by all those who knew you. I was shocked but not surprised to hear how you died as a hero-trying to save the wounded. God bless you Danny. RIP

Never forgotten
As your 73rd birthday approaches, your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
