THE WALL OF FACES

35 years ago, the bridge was too weak, the load too heavy and the war in too much of a hurry. That day on the An Lo bridge over the Song Bo river in the providence of Thau Thien, you and Ron lost your lives. The memory of that day my old friend, lives on today. You are not forgotten.

Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Martin George Blakely, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and most holy sacrifice, given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!

Again, thank you Sailor, for a job well done!
