NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Thank you Soldier

Although we have never met personally, I would like to thank you for your hard work and determination that you put forth during the Vietnam War. You were young and at a prime age, and I am sorry you couldn’t live life to its fullest. Thanks again for the tremendous sacrifice you gave and may God be with you and your family always.
Sincerely yours,
Jenn Ringger

Thank You

I am doing a project for a class at Gridley High School in Gridley Illinios that involves
reading about some of the people who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. It is our
goal as a class to write remembrances for those who sacrificed their lives for our country.
It would be nice to see that all 58,220 people would have remembrances someday. I
would like to make a special remembrance to Willie for his bravery and dedication during
the Vietnam War. He will always be remembered as a hero. God bless.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Zehr
