Thank You

Dear Sgt Durwood Ray, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. I researched you on your 56th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 57th anniversary of Gulf of Tonkin Incident is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never Forgotten

The face of a true hero; loving and missing you all of these years. Our son Is a grown man now and you would be so proud of the man he has become. Frank is a wonderful father, as I know you would have been. We have two beautiful grandchildren, Kendall and Dalton; both teenagers. Dalton is a carbon copy of you; same personality, loves to tease and has your sweet, silly grin. The only thing missing is the crew cut you always had as a teenager. I have been taking Kendall & Dalton to visit your grave site at Arlington for the past several years participating in Wreaths Across America. You will forever live on through them and their future families; always loved and never forgotten for the sacrifice you made. Until we meet again, rest in peace, my Warrior.
