DEAR PRIVATE BLAHA,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AS A RIFLEMAN. SEMPER FI. I SEE WHEN I HAD TRIED TO POST TO ANOTHER OF THE FALLEN, IT KEPT POSTING TO YOUR SITE. I APOLOGIZE FOR THAT. YOUR SACRIFICE IS NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. MAY THE SAINTS AND ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. GOD BLESS YOU, AND WATCH OUR NATION. REST IN PEACE.

You will always be remembered

Tom, my high school friend. I have submitted 5 photos of you that I have found so far. In one of them I have no idea who the young lady is. The Last one was my orders as a Marine to escort your body home to your parents. That is one of the saddest things I have ever done. Six months after that I did my time in Vietnam as a radio operator with Comm Company, 3rd Marine Division in Dong Ha Vietnam roughly 45 miles from where you died. I did go through Hue while I was there. I have visited you on the WALL in Washington DC to say hi. I will get there again.
