Making You Proud

Dear Uncle Craig,
It has been over fifty years since you were so tragically killed in action. Our family continues to mourn your loss. I will be commissioning as an officer in the Air Force next week. I am grateful to be able to follow in your footsteps as a member of the United States Air Force. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and I can only hope that during my time in the Air Force I will make you proud. I love you Uncle Craig. You are dearly missed.

A Loving Remembrance to Uncle Craig

Although I never had the chance to meet my great uncle Craig, he lives on in the memory of our family. He exemplified the best in all of us. He had a love of country, family, and life like few others and fought valiantly to preserve the values he held so dear. I visited his grave as a child and will never forget the feeling I got thinking of the sacrifice he gave so that our great country might continue to be free for all eternity. May God bless you Uncle Craig. You are dearly missed.
