honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Marilyn Lyerly Sutton is poignant and reflects the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

Thank You

Dear PFC Claude Pullen, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day is this weekend. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

We Remember You

On this Memorial Day, when you would have been 70, we remember you, Uncle Claude. We only met you through your letters and pictures, but my mom’s love for her little brother spoke volumes. I hope you are now spending this day with mom and Aunt Donna knowing that you are never alone. Thank you for giving everything for our freedoms.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Claude Douglas Pullen, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
