Thank You
Dear Sp4 Dennis Prescott, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Uncle
I remember hearing about you when I was a little girl. You passed 2 years before I was even born. My mother is Donna Prescott who passed on to the heavenly gates were I know you were waiting for her. You were with her in her time of sickness because she saw you. She loved you dearly and remembered you as her favorite brother who alsways protected her. Know how much you are loved and remembered in this family. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice and our freedom. Love your niece Tammy

The Light of Day
I was twelve yrs. old when you left. You gave me a ring you had made. I had to give it back when you came home, but you never did. I loved you so much, I still do. Your etching hangs over my desk. You were my light, my green-eyed warrior, so handsome and funny. I will see you again, etched in sunlight. I love my darling brother, Susie

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Dennis Louis Prescott, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
