Following Duffy to School
I lived across the street from "Duffy" when we were both growing up in Peoria. He was about four years older than I was. I recall one story my mother told me about him. When I was three or so, I would follow Duffy everywhere. One day I was not where my mother thought I was. I had followed Duffy all the way to school. When he discovered that I was following him, he brought me back home. While Duffy was in-country, I was serving on a guided missle destroyer in the Tonkin Gulf (Yankee Station).
I am active in the VVA Chapter 788 Bozeman, Montana. I remember Duffy at every meeting.
