James Blaauw

James, oldest son of Fred and Clara Blaauw, and the oldest boy of eight children. Volunteered service in Vietnam and deployed December 12, 1967. James was killed in action on March 22, 1968 when his base came under attack from opposing forces. He now lies next to his parents in Maple Forest Cemetery, Crawford County, Michigan.
