Thank You
Dear Sp4 Monroe Powers, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is Flag Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

For Linda Blount Powers
Hi Linda. I was moved to do this by the current Ken Burns Series on the Viet Nam War.
You are a sister, a family with a terrible loss. I recall your mother and father well and fondly. God Bless Thailand.

Remembering Allen
Allen, as you read this in Heaven, thanks for your sacrifice you made so others may be free. I have not forgot you as a friend in High school and Church singing in the HS choir. You were always friendly and kind to everyone. It was an honor to see your name printed on the wall in Washington and in Norfolk, Va. I remember your parents from Church.
RIP my friend until we meet again and tell my mother hello.
