I wore his POW bracelet

I was among those that proudly wore POW bracelets and the first one I got was Lt. Ralph Bisz. I never took it off and thought of him and prayed for his safe return. What I didn’t know until looking up his name here is that he and I share the same home town. To know he knew the same places and probably went to the same beaches makes me feel closer to his memory somehow. Thank you for your sacrifice, Lt Bisz. Now I wear his POW bracelet every Memorial Day to honor his service and sacrifice. He will never be forgotten.

Thank you

Many years ago i visited Washington DC and bought a bracelet with your name on it. I wore it proudly for may years. today I found it and decided to google your name. To my surprise i found your information and found that you where from Miami as i am and that you had been found and finally brought home. I am honored to have the bracelet and will keep it and pass it on to my daughter to keep your memory alive. thank you and your family for your sacrifice. God Bless

Thank you Sir

I wore your bracelet for a number of years and then displayed it. I hoped that one day to hand it to you. In 1997, I was saddened to learn what happened. I was able to contact Daisy Richards Bisz, your step mother. She talked in length of you and your father. She sent me some pictures of you as a child and as an officer. I keep them as I did the bracelet that I returned to your family. I am honored to know of you.
