Old Memories

Hey Lee… It’s Christmas time down here and I was just going over some old memories … thought I would look you up on The Wall of Faces. Can’t believe over 50 years have passed since you took my place on point. Much of the remainder of the company followed you in the hours and days that followed and I was one of the last to be medevaced out of the field… leaving the eleven remaining men in our company to pay the ultimate price for “Liberty”. Just wanted to say Thanks to you and the others and to let you know that with every new day, every new relationship, every new joy, and even every new sorrow I have experienced in this life... the GREATER I realize, was the sacrifice that you all made.
