Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

We thank you for your service and sacrifice. You are remembered, not forgotten because we utter your name with respect to honor you.

Dear Lt Robert Pope, Thank you for your service as a Ranger Qualified Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Memorial Day just passed when our nation remembers your sacrifice. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

It is hard to be so very young when your daddy dies. I was only three years old when he was killed in action. He was loved by everyone and was so kind and handsome. I only remember a few things about him and miss the opportunity of having more time with him.
I am so proud of you for your sacrifice for our country. RIP daddy! :(
