THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

I know that if you had survived the Vietnam War and the Marine Corps you and I would still be fast friends 57 years later. I am missing you still.

Son of Lester Plum, I was so small. I faintly remember your family visiting us right before you shipped out. My grandmother, Delphia was your grandfather's 1/2 sister. Rest in Peace.

Dear PFC Billie Plum, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Memorial Day is in a few days when the nation remembers all our lost. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

On the remembrance of your 73rd birthday, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
