Remembering an American Hero

Dear SFC John Malcolm Bischoff, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say 'thank you'; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Never forget...

Gratified to know that there are many of us wearing his bracelet and hoping he comes home.

John Malcolm Bischoff

I have worn his bracelet for almost ten years now. When I found this website I immedatley went looking for him. When I saw his picture for the first time I started to cry, after all these years I have a face to go with the bracelet. God bless our soliders stationed all over the world and God bless the families of our soliders who never came home.

13th on the Wall

I never knew John, as I am only 17 years of age right now. But I can not express the thanks that I have towards these veterans. The number 13 has reappeared in my life over and over, and recently, for a history project, I was to pick a name off the wall. I figured, why not pick the number people believe is unlucky? Without a doubt, John's South Carolina blood ran strong up to his final moment. To his family, you have my sympathy and my thanks. He might have passed away, but he will never be forgotten.
