A BIG HERO ERNEST PINAMONTI

I was 11 when I attended your funeral Mass at St, John's and I will always remember how sad we all were. You have always been in my heart and your family in my prayers.May we meet in heaven one day.

The Facts Remain...

I was a little kid when my cousin Ernie died, but his life and death continue to profoundly affect my life. His life and the lives of his brothers in arms will not be forgotten, regardless of whether or not the war was in vain. The facts remain: he did what he felt he had to do and he gave his life trying to save someone in need. For this and this alone he is forever a hero.
