Dear Lt Charles Pilkington, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Officer. Your 52nd anniversary was 3 days ago, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Memorial Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I did not know you but I did know your brother Lynn. Played football with him at Bearden HS.It was a sad time when he found out. We grieved with him. I went on to Vietnam myself and to this day I will always remember your brother and his pain for your loss.
