Thank You

Dear PFC Anthony Phillips, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 46th anniversary of the official end of the war is today, according to President Ford. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Such a good guy!

I remember this guy, fondly. I smile when I think of him! He was a gentleman, caring, funny, upbeat! We dated for about a year, we were 16,17 years old. I remember how respectful he was towards his mom, his grandma and his stepdad. I am thankful to have had him in my life. Gone too soon. I hope his family have kept his memory alive for his son. Tony, my booboo!?? Carol

My dear cousin Anthony

I remember us growing up as kids always at aunt rose's house in culver city. I remember when we used to play carem's at the school 2 blocks away from your mom's house. I remember when we would ride to work with Rose and surf all day at CRC by the Del Mar hotel on the beach. I remember that I was the last one to see you alive before you flu out of the army termal at the Oakland port when I was driving for Yellow Cab. I remember all as kids playing together. You, JoJo Phillip my brother our sister Diana wasn't on the scene yet.
Since 1969 I have come to know the truth from God's word. You Anthony will be coming back in the resurrection to paradise on earth that Jesus promised at John 5: 28,29--Rev 21: 3,4,5 Meeting all our family that have died since then.
I may not be there my cousin because Jehovah our God has given me a different hope. A loving balcony seat. Love you forever your cousin Leo.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Anthony Bruce Phillips, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
