Uncle Tony

I never got to meet you, but I always looked at your picture and asked Daddy about you. Every time he speaks of you, it's with pride in his voice and a tear in his eye. I wish I could have known you. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Anthony Earl Peterson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

To my little brother

Dear Tony, it's been 36 years and I miss you so much. There is so much we missed. Donald, Judy and I are getting together for the first time in 35 years and believe me, your memory will very much be in our midst. How I wish you could have known your nieces and nephew....they are great. I just wanted to say how much I miss you and to let you know how proud I am of what you did. Love you forever, your big sister, Robin
