Army Commendation Medal Award

Captain George E. Perry III was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device (V) for heroism in action. He served as an Infantry Unit Commander and was assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Div.

My Ranger Buddy

George and I went to hell and back during our Ranger training; the morning runs in particular. We were very compatible, He helped me with the swims and I helped with the runs. What a great nine weeks we spent together to become Rangers. Thank you George for being my guiding light in the military. I hope we meet some time in the future.
