I think of you every day and miss you so very much. Even though I am older now and you are forever 22, you will always be my incredible big brother. Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Dale Christopher Pehrson, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

45.5 Years ago our unit walked into a hot zone of intense NVA fire. The NVA relocated and we fought off an ambush on the way to the assembly area. I saw you there, picked you up,and helped to commence your journey home. I have prayed and still pray for your Family and Your Soul. You died as a Hero,a United States Marine! SEMPER FI, Brother!
