Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your sister Bobbi is moving and reflects her eternal love for you. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

I lived next to Chris' friend Richard Enck in Redding. As a small kid I would sit on a fence and watch Chris and Richard practice Judo in Richard's back yard. They never got mad at me for bothering them. I remember Richard took Chris' death real hard. He mentioned Chris had been stationed in Hawaii but didn't feel he was doing his duty for his country so he volunteered for Vietnam. Chris, you did what you thought was right for your country. You are my hero.

Dear Cpl Dale Pehrson, Thank you for your service as an Antitank Assaultman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the Easter season. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I think of you every day and miss you so very much. Even though I am older now and you are forever 22, you will always be my incredible big brother. I love you so much and my heart aches to see you or hear your voice. I know that you watch over me and I am forever grateful that we had you for the time we did....

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
