Distinguished Flying Cross Award
Sergeant William Roy Pearson was awarded, in addition to the Silver Star Medal previously posted, the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight. He served as an Aeromedical Specialist (Air Rescue) and was assigned to the 37TH ARRS, 3RD AIR RESCUE GROUP, 7TH AF.

Your 70th birthday is soon, happy birthday, and I researched you on your 49th anniversary. Glad you were identified in 1997 - Welcome Home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart.
