Remembering

We were friends of Frankie in the Bronx. He was a terrific person and we remember him fondly. Only just discovered this page and we want to add our wish that he is at peace.

My Forever Hero

You were my hero long before you went to Vietnam. How I always looked up to my big brother. Here it is 40 years later and it still breaks my heart to know that you are gone. They say time heals the pain, they are wrong. I have a son now that is the age you were when you passed, it's so hard for me to believe how young you were. Their hasn't been a holiday, a new birth in the family, a wedding that we haven't thought of how you would have enjoyed it all. How I wished you could have met all your nieces and nephews. Our love for you has never changed. We are all so proud of you. You volunteered to make us all safer. We love you so much, and will never, ever forget. Love Ya! Gale

my dad and Frank

My dad served with Frank n Vietnam..I lived most of my life hearing my dad's stories about him and Frank..I never knew Frank but felt I did in some capacity through my dad..he wrote a letter to Frank's family after Frank was gone but never knew how to get it to them..even though it's been so long ago, I know my dad would like very much to get his letter to Frank's family and feel like he accomplished one last mission for Frank..I know he carries Frank in his heart always..my dad's name is Gary Vickers and mine it's Jason..if any of Frank's family would happen to c this, it would mean the world to my dad to hear from u and hopefully he could get his letter be wrote 44 yrs ago to its destination..thank u Frank for your service and sacrifice..God bless

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Francis Laury Pearson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
