Still missing you

I miss you today as deeply as the day we lost your beautiful soul. You are forever alive in my heart. When I look at the forget-me-nots in my garden, I remember your poem to Mom. We will never forget you. See you on the other side my big brother. My love always.

Do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Not Forgotten

I have not forgotten you. I chair the Adoption Committee for The National League of Families of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action in Southeast Asia. We will always remember the 1,889 Americans still unaccounted for in Southeast Asia and the thousands of others that lost their lives. We will not stop our efforts until all of you are home where you belong.

We need to reach the next generation so that they will carry on when our generation is no longer able. To do so, we are attempting to locate photographs of all the missing. If you are reading this remembrance and have a photo and/or memory of this missing American that you would like to share for our project, please contact me at:

Barry, Navy Brother and Freind.

Barry,I still remember you as a great navy brother and friend.
You taught me a great many things in life in our short time together in VAH123 at NAS Whidbey Is. The great times and experiences we shared with laughter and our honest talks in the tough times are deeply embedded in my mind. I am honored to have you as friend. To this day I tell people of some our adventures which I SURE very few people believe what we actually did. The most important part of our friendship is that I always knew, I COULD COUNT ON YOU. God rest your soul my dear friend. You are respected and loved.
