Final Mission of SSGT Clifford Bias

SSGT Clifford Bias was a unit supply sergeant assigned to E Company and SMAJ William R. McGee was an infantry senior sergeant assigned to D Company, both part of 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 4th Infantry Division. On April 7, 1968, they were traveling in a convoy down Highway QL 14, about seven miles northeast of Polei Krong Airfield in Kontum Province, RVN, when the truck in which they were riding struck a mine. Both soldiers suffered fatal injuries in the incident. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org and 1-22infantry.org]
