My name is John Wendell Owen. John Wilson was my father. I'd love to speak w/ anyone who may have known him. I'd especially like to hear from anyone who knew him at the time of his death.

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Dear Soldier,
My name is Nick Lyons, and I am a Junior at Gridley High School. I am posting this remebrance for the Gridley posting Project. I would just like to let you know how proud I am of you. You gave your life for your country and millions of Americans whom you would never meet. You are a noble and courageous American. To the friends and family members of this fallen hero I offer up my greatest apologies.
