THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AS A RIFLEMAN. SEMPER FI. I AM ALSO FROM NEW YORK. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. Nelson was my uncle but because we were the same age we were more like brother and sister. He was and always will be a very special person in my life. I still miss him to this day. The world lost a very caring, talented and wonderful human being on March 9, 1969. I love you Nelson!
