Ground Casualty

BUCN Daniel J. Noble was a Seabee serving with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 22 (NMCB-22), 3rd Naval Construction Brigade, U.S. Naval Forces, Vietnam. Noble was a Builder and worked in a range of trades including carpentry, plaster, roofing, concrete, masonry, etc. On October 18, 1968, he took a break from his duties to attend a USO Show at the Special Forces Compound on Marble Mountain Airfield in Quang Nam Province, RVN. When the show concluded, Noble was found passed out. He was taken to the Naval Support Activity Hospital at Da Nang where he was dead on arrival. It was determined that Noble had aspirated the contents of his stomach while unconscious and was asphyxiated. He was nineteen years old. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]

Thank You

Dear CN Daniel Noble, Thank you for your service as a Constructionman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
